2-Day Luxor Tour with Hot Air Balloon

Tour Itinerary & Highlights

See Luxor like never before—by land and from the sky! This 2-day tour combines legendary ancient sites with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Nile’s west bank. Explore Karnak and Luxor Temples, walk through the tombs of ancient pharaohs, and wake up to a sunrise floating above the Valley of the Kings.

Day 1: Temples & Ancient Wonders

Your journey kicks off early, around 5:00 AM, with a comfortable private transfer from your hotel in Hurghada to Luxor. First stop: Karnak Temple—a mind-blowing complex filled with towering columns, sacred lakes, and hieroglyph-covered walls that whisper stories of the past. No waiting in ticket lines here—we’ve got that covered.

After two hours at Karnak, it’s time to explore Luxor Temple. Built by pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II, this temple once hosted grand festivals and was a sacred place of worship for centuries.

After soaking in Luxor’s east bank, enjoy a delicious lunch before checking into your 5-star hotel, where you can unwind and get ready for an early start the next day.

Day 2: Hot Air Balloon & The Tombs of Kings

Rise and shine—it’s time for a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor! After checkout, you’ll cross the Nile to meet your balloon pilot and crew. As the balloon inflates, the sky begins to glow with the first light of day. Then, you’re up—floating above Luxor’s breathtaking landscape, seeing the Valley of the Kings, the Nile, and the golden desert stretching endlessly before you. It’s a view you won’t forget.

Back on the ground, your Egyptologist guide takes you deep into the Valley of the Kings. Step inside three royal tombs, where intricate carvings and hidden chambers tell tales of ancient rulers. You might even see the legendary tomb of Tutankhamun (optional entry available).

Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Finally, stop by the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have stood watch over the Theban necropolis for thousands of years.

After lunch, it’s time to relax on the scenic drive back to Hurghada—two days, countless memories, and one incredible adventure richer.
