Day 1: Luxor – Temples & Ancient Wonders
Your adventure starts early—really early! We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada at 5 AM, setting off in a deluxe, air-conditioned private car towards Luxor. The first stop? The breathtaking Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex in Egypt. Stroll through the massive hypostyle hall, admire the towering obelisks, and hear the stories of the pharaohs who left their mark here.
Next, it’s time for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, refueling before heading to Luxor Temple. Built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II, this temple was once the heart of the grand Opet Festival. Wander through its impressive columns and statues, imagining the celebrations that took place here thousands of years ago.
As the sun sets, experience the Karnak Sound and Light Show, where ancient stories are projected onto the temple walls. It’s an atmospheric way to end the day before checking into your comfortable hotel in Luxor for the night.
Day 2: Aswan – Hidden Tombs & Pharaohs’ Legacy
After breakfast, at around 9 AM, we continue to the famous Valley of the Kings, where Egypt’s greatest rulers were laid to rest. You’ll visit three legendary tombs, admiring their intricate hieroglyphs and vivid paintings, still preserved after thousands of years.
Then, it’s off to Hatshepsut’s Temple, a masterpiece of ancient architecture dedicated to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh. Before leaving Luxor, we’ll stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have stood guard for millennia.
After an action-packed two days, we’ll drive back to Hurghada, arriving in the evening with memories of a lifetime.
